Solar Wall Lights Motion Sensor 3 Modes 318LED 16.4FT Cable

This is a fantastic little solar LED light. It has a lot of LED nodes and therefore it is extremely bright. It’s surprisingly bright! I have had many $20 solar lights in the past and not only were they much chunkier, they never put out the amount of light that this light is currently doing. See my video review for a demonstration. I really think for $18.99 that this is a complete winner. I can’t speak to its longevity, but there’s a couple of things I really like about this particular light. I love the size, particularly the fact that the solar panel is very slim and so is the light realistically. There’s also the ability to put the light into a built-in bracket directly on the solar panel, so it makes the entire unit more compact. The kit came with three sets of screws that also included wall anchors, two brackets that are designated for the light and the solar panel itself, and then of course the light and the solar panel. The connection between the solar panel and the light is plenty tight to keep out water, but it also has a plastic nut that covers the entire connection. The motion detector on this light works very well. There are three light setting which include motion detection and a constant on between a dim and a bright mode. There’s one button to manipulate the entire unit and it’s very easy to do so. Overall, I think this is a winner and I’m not just suggesting this due to being a vine reviewer, I honestly think that this particular solar light absolutely beats any of the other $15-$20 solar lights I have purchased over the past 15 years. I implore you to try one and worst case scenario you just return it.

The look and presentation of the solar LEDs is slightly off-putting visually; however, it does light up the intended area decently. There is an included cable from the solar panel to the light which is a great benefit if you have trees or other tall objects blocking the solar panel. While the mounting brackets do not lock into place, the solar panel and light feel firmly attached when they slide into the mounting brackets. The solar panel and light are fairly lightweight which reduces the support structure needed when mounting the solar light.

Edited to add: This think is BRIGHT! It lights up our whole side yard. My husband is actually concerned it might bother our neighbors lol. We may adjust it to point more toward the ground, but don‘t let size deceive you, this light is great!My husband just installed this light so I don‘t know what it will look like at night, but my initial review is that it‘s definitely a very bright light, the solar panel seems well made and plenty big enough to grab sun and power the light. However, the reason I deducted a star is because the picture makes this light look huge, when in fact it‘s maybe 4-5 inches long, maybe 2-3 inches tall, so it‘s quite small. My husband is convinced it will be plenty because of the light type, but we‘ll see. It was easy to install and is currently charging. I will update once we see how it works!

This light, like the title sez, is smaller than expected...(YES, you read the measurements BUT it‘s smaller once you unbox it). THAT being said, the light output is suprisingly good and the addition of the long extension cord between the solar cell and unit for the best charging situation really is SMART and CONVENIENT!. Don‘t know how long the batteries will last BUT this would make an excellent light for inside or out (Light inside say a garage/cabin/shed with the solar cell placed outside in the best possible sunlight) Physical size is smaller than expected BUT it‘s a good thing because the lumens are good in a convenient packaged. I can see this very useful in a camping situation.

I own a couple of different brands of solar-powered motion lights that work well on the back and side of my house, but none of them work in the front due to the lack of direct sunlight. Then I ordered this light, and it was exactly what I needed all along!I was honestly surprised by how bright it is, especially considering it has just one light panel, but that single panel packs over 300 LEDs, and it makes a difference. It quickly lights up most of the front yard when motion is detected, making it great for added visibility and security.What really sets this light apart from others is the long, wired solar panel design. I was able to mount the solar panel on the other side of my house where it gets plenty of sun, while keeping the light itself in the shaded area of the front yard where no other solar panel light stood a chance!The only con is that it would be even better as a 2-pack or if it included more light panels for broader coverage, but for a single unit, it‘s doing an impressive job by brightening up most of my front yard! I do highly recommend this little light that packs a big punch!

The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B0DWMW3MZT.Considering the small size (6”x3.5”) of the lamp head, the 318 LEDs generate an extreme amount of light. My light meter app got an impressive reading of 14688 LUX. Thanks to the slight curve in the lens, the lamp spreads the light with a 270° lighting angle.One of the best features is the split design, meaning that the lamp head and the solar panel are separated by a 16’ power cord. As long as the solar panel is installed in direct sunlight, the lamp can be placed anywhere within the length limit of the cord. Mounting inside a garage or shed or under a carport are common examples. If desired, the solar panel can be attached directly to the lamp head.The PIR (passive infrared) sensor can detect movement around 7’-12’ away. Before mounting the device out of reach, turn the solar panel upside down on a table and press the red power button. There are three lighting modes:Mode 1 – Off-Bright-Off. The lamp remains off until movement is detected. The light will go to 100% brightness and will stay that way for about 20 seconds after activity ceases.Mode 2 – Dim-Bright-Dim. The light stays at 20% brightness. Any movement will cause the light to act the same as in mode 1.Mode 3 – No Motion Detection. Bright solar light with separate solar panel. The cable is very long to be able and to put the panel somewhere that has more sunlight. This light is small but very bright. The dawn to dusk sensor is on the panel. I placed the panel near by back porch where i had lights on all night and that prevented this solar to turn on. I thought this solar light was broken at first but accidentally placed the solar panel face down while “troubleshooting” the light and the light just turned on. So save yourself some time and effort, don’t place the panel where it’s bright at night.

Despite its small size, this solar light provides adequate illumination for my 15‘ x 20‘ backyard. Installation was remarkably simple due to its compatibility with a solar camera gutter mount from Amazon. This setup offers a convenient advantage: the light activates automatically when the door opens, bypassing the need for me to step out into a dark area.

Recently picked up this solar motion light for the backyard and it’s honestly been doing the job. It’s super bright—lights up a huge chunk of space, which is awesome for those darker corners near the garage. The motion detection is solid too, kicks on right when it should without much delay. Installation was easy enough, didn’t take more than a few minutes. What I really like is the option to separate the solar panel from the light. That made it way easier to find a sunny spot for charging without compromising on where I needed the light itself. The cable‘s a decent length, so no stress there. But switching between modes isn’t super intuitive, and you’ve gotta cover the panel just to test it during the day, which feels a little clunky. Also, the button’s kinda tiny and tucked away. But overall, solid build, bright output, and looks like it’ll hold up well in the weather. Pretty happy with it.

I needed a bright solar light for a wharf on the mainland (I ordered others for the island side that were needed for looks and function). This light works perfectly to help people navigate back to the parking lot at night from across the water.Really easy to see the dock while out on the boat at night, which is what we needed. There are too many other lights on the shoreline that make it difficult to know where to land so we needed something that would illuminate the ramp and make it obvious where to go.Easy to setup. Easy to install. Perfect for what I needed it for. The panel keeps the light going through the night without issue.
