Perfect to protect my chickens. Great having a solar panel to be placed in the sun and the option to put the light where you want .motion activated and is bright and has been working great. I don’t have electric inside the chicken shed so I’ll purchase another one so I can have light a night inside. It’s smaller and brighter than ithought

This may well be the brightest solar light I own, edging out a similar two-piece form factor one by a noticeable margin. I love that the detached solar panel design lets me mount the light in a places where solar lights can’t otherwise be used (charged).Before installing, I charged it for a full day in the sun and then brought the light in for a night to test the battery life. On Mode 2 (constant dim light + motion activated temporary full brightness) the light lasted for well over 12 hours before I discontinued the test.My only complaint would be with the mounting mechanisms. Both are hinged, which allow up/down tilting - but a ball mount allowing some side-to-side aiming would have been useful as well. The angle of light cast by this light is pretty wide, though, so maybe that wouldn’t be an issue most of the time (the exception being if there’s an area to one side that you’re specifically trying NOT to illuminate).

Very nice solar powered floodlight. The motion sensitivity is really good. Detected my car when driving up the driveway about 15 feet away from side of drive. It’s very bright, easy to install and has a very long cable from the solar panel to the light if you need to separately mount. I like the look of the light as well. I think it’s a great value and very happy with his purchase.

This solar motion light works great and comes at a solid price. It’s bright enough to light up driveways, patios, and yards, and the motion sensor kicks in right when it should.The installation is simple, and it’s waterproof, so it holds up well outdoors.

For so many years they only had solar lights just attached to the panels so you couldntlight a dark underneath porch,--- slowly they came up with ones with maybe 2 meter cords! Finally this one that can reach a access pathway that is far from the sun.:) A 5 meter cord will do it! Thanks!

If you ever need a light, where are you don’t have electrical already run this is the perfect answer. The separate solar panel means that you can actually put the light under a cover in like under a canopy or a patio and run the panel where it will get full sun. It has different light and motion settings and it’s easy to set up and install. Since there’s no electrical needed all you have to do is attach the light where you want it and then make sure your panel gets a good amount of sun every day.

This solar powered light kit includes the bright LED light (with battery), solar panel, mounting brackets and hardware, and instructions. The solar panel charges the battery during the day, which powers the light during the night. The set has 3 modes of operation, all of which are OFF during the day and ACTIVE at night: 1.) Light remains off until motion is detected, then lights at full brightness, 2.) Light is dim until motion is detected, then goes to full brightness, and 3.) Light remains at dim brightness all night. I use mode 2 so there is dim light all night, and bright light when I or someone else (or wildlife) move into range. This taxes the battery and it doesn‘t always last all night.

I got this Solar Motion Lightcause I needed something to light up the side of my garage and backyard without running wires or dealing with timers. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but honestly This thing seriously impressed me.First off, the brightness is wild. Like, it’s got 318 LEDs and a 270° lighting angle, and when it kicks on, it lights up everything. I’ve got it mounted about 7 feet high and it covers the whole driveway and part of the yard. It’s not just a little glow—it’s legit floodlight bright. I feel way safer walking out there at night now.Alsooo—the motion sensor is super responsive. It picks me up from like 20 feet away, and it doesn’t false trigger every time a leaf blows by (which my old one did constantly lol). You can choose from 3 modes too: motion only, dusk-to-dawn, or constant light. I’ve been using the motion mode and it’s been perfect—saves battery and only lights up when needed.The solar panel is detachable, which is genius. I mounted the light under the eaves and ran the included 5-meter cable up to the roof where it gets full sun. That way I get max charging without compromising where I want the light. And it charges fast—even on cloudy days, it still works all night.The build quality is solid. It’s made of ABS plastic but doesn’t feel cheap. It’s IP65 waterproof, and we’ve had a couple rainy nights already—no issues at all. The light still comes on strong and the casing hasn’t shown any signs of wear or leaks.
