I love sitting in my yard except for the mosquitoes. My neighbor and I have a gate between our back yards and both yards are deep. My Pomeranian loves visiting his Uncle Mike and I am into safety features for all three of us. I have these hanging on bird feeders, on the fence for both of us, on trees and just sitting by the back door. I love the brightness of the lights and use them at the motion detection level for the most part. Although I live in the city, I do have a large jackrabbit and an occasional opossum in my yard. I enjoy the safety and convenience of use of these lights. Those zip ties work great for hanging on the bird feeders and fence posts. I have had similar ones that have lasted since 2017. These charge well with the solar panels. Shorter days are coming so it will be interesting to see how well they work then. The pictures show how well lit the yard is. My dog is mostly black so with the motion detector I can know where he is in the yard.

Purchased (2) Black/bright white light. Very pleased with the motion detection and brightness of these lights. We use them on gates where there is no power for traditional lighting. (rural area, no street lighting) Quickly attached to the gates using zip ties instead of the provided mounting screws. Zip ties allow us to slightly “tilt“ the lights toward the ground. Placed them near the midpoint/bottom of the gate, not at eye level. We wanted pathway lighting. We‘ve had them for several months & they remain solar charged and work as intended.
