AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★☆Outward facing lighting on these post toppers
This is the second style of post topper lights I‘ve received and I wish I liked it more. The pros are that is easy to unbox and put into use, the lights decent brightness for outward facing post cap lights as well.Cons for me are the bracket that helps this fit on 3.5“ 4x4‘s is very loose so when mounting the cap you have to hold the bracket in place to keep it from falling. Many of the other styles have brackets that fit smugly before mounting which eliminates the need to hold it while screwing in the whole unit. Secondly, and maybe this is a bit of preference, but the outward facing light is less beneficial for light pollution and just plain hitting you in the eye (though not crazy bright). The other units often cast light downward for a nice effect that also minimizes light pollution. If you want more of a statement from the lights themselves though, this would easily be a 4 star item.** OK edit up to 4 stars due to longevity of the charge. I‘m not sure if the battery is better, lights are more efficient, or the solar panels are but out of the 3 different styles of post cap lights I have, these stay lit the longest so that‘s a pretty significant benefit. I still like the general design of the others more with the downward facing lights but I‘d have to think longer to pick one if i knew these lights would stay on longest.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Bright post lights
I‘m very pleased with these post lights--good brightness and uniform light on all sides. The posts at my entry gate are 6x6 so I couldn‘t mount these as a fitting cap on the post, but they are resting on top great and have elevated that entry area. I like that they come with two mounting brackets and hardware to fit both 3.5x3.5 or true 4x4 posts that will suit the needs of most people. These would work great for entryways, deck posts, or pathway lighting.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Warm and quite bright light! Right now staying lit all night. Clever and elegant design
Tested the lights before installation, and they are both a beautiful warm/soft white light, and bright too. Over a couple of mostly sunny to partly cloudy days here, and in yard locations which have shade from trees intermittently - these lights have gotten enough sunlight to shine ALL night, and into morning - despite imperfect conditions.I brought them inside for couple of nights, and put them in a dark closet (the poor things!) where they‘d stay lit constantly, even after morning light started coming in the windows. Took them back outside for daylight in between the test nights. Results of those tests?... They are CHAMPS! As bright in the mornings as they were when I put them in the closet the night before. We do live in Wisconsin - and days get short, and frequently gray more often than sunny, especially in later fall through early spring - so I won‘t expect ALL night light ALL year round - but I BET they‘ll give us a little show after dusk each night at least.I much appreciate the thoughtful simplicity of this design too. Having 2 pieces which work smoothly together will be great for use on 4“ x 4“ square posts - but the lights are good in other situations as well. We have a “Grillzebo“ with a pair of tempered glass shelves. The lights look great just set down on the glass - one on each end of of shelf. Like they were MADE for it. Their low profile makes them unlikely to blow off - even in a wind storm. I have some spare 4“ square heavy tiles I can use under the lights too in case I‘m wrong about that not blowing off prediction. If we decide the grillzebo is the spot we love them the MOST - FOR NOW - they‘ll provide just enough light - right where we can USE it for grilling etc after dark. The beauty of solar lights is - we can use them there - then move them to another spot any time the mood strikes!I may need to order more! Could be for the the “dark side“ of the grillzebo, and I‘m already thinking of a few other spots they‘d likely be great too...We have a couple, single stair steps, on the walkway up to the house - and I think these lights (on shorter posts) - placed on either side of the stairs - would both look nice and be helpful making the stairs very obvious MORE fun experimenting with that spot and a couple others too, will be in my near future I‘m sure. I can hardly WAIT! : )

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★☆Basic solar light that provides lots of illumination
This review is for the kolpop 4x4 solar post cap lights 2 pack listed at $16.99.I haven’t installed these yet as I’m still deciding where to place them permanently. I have moved these lights around to several locations to see how they look in different areas of my yard. They’re brighter than I expected and do a good job of providing illumination no matter where they placed. I do wish they had more style, the lights are bare bones plastic. The batteries charge well, even on mostly cloudy days and I’m impressed at how long they stay lit at night. I like the fact that they are rated IP65, which means they can stand up to weather extremes. Other solar products with lower ratings have not lasted as long as expected on my property. The listing photos show what seems to be a warm light, but in real life the light is more white than yellow. I had initially planned on keeping them near my side door, but the light was a bit overpowering on my decorative solar lights.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Stylish and durable solar lights
I really like the design, especially the effect when the light shines through the edges, it looks elegant and unique. The shape is beautiful as well. We installed them near the door, they are sturdy, well-made, and easy to mount. For only $17 for two pieces, it’s a great deal. The color is nice, and the light looks warm and beautiful. Very happy with this purchase!

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Simple, bright, light.
While I can’t yet tell how long this lasts or holds up in weather, so far I really like these. It comes with two solar lights and they are a more white light vs yellow. The light is bright but not overwhelming and is also quite lightweight. I’ll update if there are any issues but overall for a very basic light, it works well.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Great basic post light.
Great basic post light. Simple construction and and seems like these will hold up well. I had some post lights from a big box store that haven‘t held up well. The battery lift degraded very quickly and they were expensive. These look better and at the price point I don‘t think you can beat it. The light is surprisingly bright. Really good value and simple no frills design. I‘ll update this if they don‘t hold up well.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★☆Measure your posts first guys lol
These were a bit more light weight & less durable than I had hoped. & by no fault of anyone other than myself, the are not the proper size for my posts. Mine are 6 inch. These do not fit where I wanted to put them. So they wouldn‘t let me put them where I wanted. For now they are on top of my posts in my tomato garden. They are decent lights. They just kind of feel like they may not last too long like they aren‘t very heavy weight& durable. They give alright light & have decent battery life. Take my advice & measure your posts

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★★Deserve 5 stars for replaceable battery
These post lights work all night after charging. They recharged during the day and continue to work all night. The light is as shown, an amber color. The lights came with the brackets and hardware to install. I love the battery is replaceable and the panel comes clean of dust with a clean wipe off.

AAmazon Verified Buyer★★★★☆They look great on my 6x6; light doesn’t last long
I mistakenly thought my exposed posts where my gate is were 4x4 but they’re actually 6x6. I still used them though idc. They’re very pretty and solar powered I can’t ask for much more. They’re smaller than they’re supposed to be on the 6x6 but no ones gonna know from a distance! They are usually off by the time I wake up in the am at 5 so that’s a bummer. I have other solar lights that are on still so I know they’re getting adequate sunlight and charging time.
