Set them up with clear and easy instructions, stuck it to the house, and waited for things to get dark.The light detected me at 15 to 20 feet depending on the angle. A bright enough light comes on for 10 seconds then shuts down. It is a soft white light, not intense enough to bother our neighbors. For the money you just can’t beat these!
