As solar lights go this one is actually pretty bright as it has a substantial LED array. Most people will (I guess) use the dark motion sensing mode (1). This works well enough although I always wish there was a way of adjusting the ‘time on‘ of the light beyond the 20s or so which is pretty small. I get that this is to save batteries but I would think a minute or so wouldn‘t be too demanding. The remote is handy as you can change the mode without getting your ladder out of the shed. There is enough lead to the solar panel to enable you to find a sunny spot for it. It comes with the fittings you need for a simple fuss free and mains electricity free installation. This is easily a 4 star quality item but the full price of £15.99 gives a star for value as this is a good little light. Even better there is a short term £4.80 discount which makes it a bargain. Oh by the way I almost didn‘t see the (quite large!) red on/off switch on the light itself and thought it wasn‘t working at first!.

Not many do this, So you can put the light somewhere useful, but have the panel in a place where it will get direct light to recharge.i.e. I want to mount this under a porch roof to illuminate the front door.Comes with all the required fittings and is ready to use. I live in a 2nd floor flat and have a balcony that I like to use, even in winter. The issue of course is when it gets dark and I need light.I got this solar light set as a basic solution to my problem. I‘ve fixed the light to shine above us, and being a bright light (even at 20%) it does the job perfectly. I‘ve positioned the solar panel away from the balcony so that it faces the sun and it seems to hold its charge well throughout the night.£15.99 at the time of my review, I‘d say that‘s a fantastic price for a modular solar light. It‘s easy to set up and the large battery provides ample power for those winter nights.

This is excellent.3 different options of use. We are using it on function 2 which has it on at 20% brilliance, that switches to full on with movement detection.20% gives sufficient light to move about, whilst 100% is a brilliant flood light. Very powerful LED‘s.Easy to set up and comes with a remote for switching on & off, and changing functions. The controller is quite directional and short range.Thoroughly recommend.

Handy remote control to test, switch off and on and change the detection mode if required.Useful addition to home safety, easy to set up and use and good value for money.

The Kolpop solar light is a great bit of kit – easy to install, pleasantly bright, and the split solar panel design makes it much more versatile than fixed-panel models. I like the three lighting modes and the fact you can switch them with the remote instead of fumbling around in the dark. Feels sturdy, handles the rain well, and for the price, it’s a very useful way to light up paths, sheds, or the driveway.

This is a large outdoor light with solar panel. The solar panel is smaller than the light but does a good job. It’s currently summer so the panel does well I’ll wait and see on the winter lighting.The lights good quality and the long cable length means you can put the lights near trees and still put the solar panel on the roof to get the sun.You can put the light on different settings depending on whether you want full light or low light.Overall, I think for the price this is a really good light I’d be happy to buy more for the back of the house.
