I have an odd shaped garden pole - recycled from a pallet haul several years ago. It is 3.5 x 4x5. This cap did not technically fit but I made a block that was its right size, nailed that to the top of the pole and then screwed the light to the block I made. It came on right out of the package and then it popped on at about 8:30pm CST. It was much darker when I snapped the photo but it still shows the light on. I checked and it was still bright at about midnight. Very nice and decent for the price. It has not rained yet so we‘ll see if it holds up after getting wet.
