These post cap lights look fantastic and I‘m really happy with them!-The bright white mode is my favorite! It’s crisp, clean, and looks really sharp on the posts at night. The warm white is a nice option too if you prefer a cozier feel, but the cool white is where it’s at for me. -The glow through the clear part looks really nice. There’s little bit of a pattern on the clear part and it makes the lamp look more sophisticated. These genuinely elevate the look of the fence or deck they’re sitting on. -Fit is good, but be aware that if you have “4x4" posts like I do, you’ll likely need to use the included insert. Turns out standard 4x4 lumber isn’t actually 4x4 inches. Not a flaw with the light, just one of those fun lumber facts nobody tells you until you’re standing outside with a post cap in your hand. -No wiring required which makes installation pretty painless overall. -One thing the instructions don’t make obvious is that you have to twist the top off to access the switch inside before mounting. It’s simple once you know, but a little clearer guidance there would save some head scratching. Once they’re up and lit, these look really great. The bright white glow on the posts at night is exactly the curb appeal upgrade I was hoping for. Really pleased with this purchase.

Not quite as bright as my current deck lights, but it’s hard to show this with a photo or video. When I say not quite as bright as, I would still say they function well & i also need to be fair as I paid much more for my current set. These lights have 2 settings & you need to twist off the top to get to the switch, which is very easy to do, even when mounted. They’re easy to mount with a couple screws or nails. I like that they are more compact than other deck lights i’ve seen. If you compare to my current post lights in the video, You can see the size difference & I prefer that more compact size…not as distracting i guess. I live in Ohio & we get plenty of cloudy days, but the lights continue to function all night long….this in itself impressed me. Many lights only come on for a few hours at night & then go dark, so these appear to be built with a quality collector that charges them up sufficiently, even when cloudy. I would have preferred white rather than the dark color as my deck posts are all white, but I didn’t have that option. I currently have these mounted on a 60” swing I built & they look very nice & can guide folks over to the swing in the evening. Overall, a fair price for 4 units, though the seller should offer higher quantities, & include white casings as an option. I’m very pleased with the function of these & how long they last. I have mine set on the bright white light & I would recommend to a friend.

Great lighting for my fence and deck! Bright, easy to install, and the two modes are useful. Just wish they stayed brighter a little longer overnight.
