Provide a night of bright light

These are pretty decent solar lights. They‘re bright enough to be good accent lighting but not enough if you’re trying to do area illumination, but that’s not the intent of this type of light. They were simple to install and fit on top of the deck posts well. They pick up a decent charge even with the shorter days, at least long enough to get to about 11pm with the earlier sunsets. At less than $15 for two they’re a good bargain! We have harsh winters here so hopefully they will stand up to the extreme cold, but after a few Fall months they still look and function like new!

This review is for the kolop solar post cap lights. This item arrived quickly and we‘ll packaged. These lights are just wonderful for your outside space. The instructions are easy to understand but honestly not really necessary, they are just that easy to install. Each light has an on off switch underneath with 3 lighting modes: Cool White, Warm White, and Neutral White. Each color option features 2 brightness settings (50% and 100%) , allowing you to easily switch from soft mood lighting to powerful illumination. We did not notice much difference in the lighting modes so we kept it on the lowest to conserve energy. Also the switch is underneath, so not real easy to get too. We will be “setting it and forgetting it".... lol. These solar post lights are made for standard 4x4 wood/vinyl posts but included is a 3.5×3.5 inch adapter to ensure a snug fit for wooden posts of both sizes. We love the look of these lights. Our vinyl fence is white so the white solar cap looks crisp and bright even when not illuminated. Once these are lit at night it turns your outdoor space Into a magical oasis. I can not wait for warm summer nights by the pool, lit up with these solar caps. Overall I feel these caps are a wonderful Vue for your money and you will not be disappointed.

Loved these so much I bought a second box for the rest of my fence. Very bright, they stay on without dimming all night, seem to be well made in my opinion. They are dusk till dawn and automatically come on which I love . Very sleek looking .

These lights are designed to sit on top of 4 x 4 fence posts. The lights come in two pieces. There is a base that attaches to the post and then the part with the light, solar cell and battery that attaches to that base. The issue is that the base is a little on the flimsy side and does not fit flush if you are attaching it to a flat surface and not a 4 x 4. I was able to make it work by using longer screws and not tightening them too tight. The screws that came with it are a little on the short side for mounting them on a flat surface like I did. The lights do come on in the evening and do last to dawn although they are definitely not as bright at 5 am as they are at sundown. These lights do put out decent light but are definitely not an outdoor light replacement. They are more decorative but when they are grouped together they provide a fair amount of light. Overall I think it‘s a decent value for the money as you get a large quantity of lights for the price. The only real drawback is that the bases that the lights attach to could be more durable and there’s always the question of how long they will last. So far I’m happy with them.

Setting #3 lasted all night. Had a few post that were too short, so made spacers to lift them. Should have thought about using construction adhesive for all instead of screws. Much faster and simple.

For the price they are perfect for my posts, don‘t spend big money these work just dandy
