Solar Ground Lights Waterproof Mow-Over Safe (2.2 Inch)

I have a set of ground lights scattered on my yard, and in general I‘m satisfied with them, but they tend to be a little fragile. The thin plastic spikes have to be assembled from two pieces, and they tend to break when driven into harder earth. Also, the lights just rest lightly on the spikes and are constantly being kicked off by the gardeners. I had lost enough of my old lights that I was looking for more, when the vighep Mini Solar Ground Lights came across my data feed and I decided to give them a try. My impressions:- These lights are small! The surface area of these lights are probably 1/3 the size of my previous lights, so they look a little awkward when used together. I ended up using the new lights together in the front yard, and placed the older lights together in the back yard.- These lights are bright! They are significantly brighter than my older lights, though the cool white color is about the same.- The spikes that come with these lights are much more robust than the spikes with my older lights. These spikes are a solid, thick piece of plastic that doesn‘t break as you push it into harder earth.I really like these new mini solar ground lights, and I‘m looking forward to seeing how they work over time. They appear to be more robust and enduring than my older lights, and if this turns out to be the case, I will probably replace all my older lights with these types. Highly recommended!

These mini solar ground lights add a nice subtle glow to my garden and pathways. Installation was straightforward, and they seem durable enough to handle the weather so far. I do wish the brightness was a bit stronger at night, but overall they do a good job of lighting up the yard without being overpowering. A solid choice if you want simple, eco-friendly outdoor lighting.

These really shine in the night. They lasted through the night. They held up to the rain and sand here. They are a perfect size for the my walkway!

I’ve been searching for dusk-to-dawn solar outdoor candles to fit the tealight glass hanging holders in my backyard. I tried solar tea lights with flameless flickering LEDs, but they were too dim—even on moonless nights. Fortunately, the dimensions of the warm white Vighep mini solar ground lights fit perfectly in the holders and provide a soft, pleasant glow without being harsh.“

These solar ground lights are a great addition to my garden pathway! The cold white LED light is bright and crisp, making it easy to see at night without being too harsh. They’re waterproof and have held up well through rain and dew. Installation was simple — just pop them into the ground and let the sun charge them during the day. Very happy with this 12-pack for lighting up my yard.

I would have given this a 5 star if the price wasn’t so high. I have used these kind of lights for years and the price has currently been jacked up so high. I like the size of these in particular for my new front yard landscaping. They look fantastic!I need more but I will wait for a price drop

These little lights are awesome!

I installed these solar ground lights along the pathway in my yard, and they give off a clean, cold white glow that makes it easy to walk at night. The low-profile design is nice because I don’t have to worry about tripping or hitting them with the lawnmower. They held up well after a heavy rain, so I trust the waterproof claim. I like that they automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn without me needing to think about it. The light is bright enough for guiding a walkway but not too harsh. My only small issue is that on very cloudy days the brightness seems lower, but that’s expected with solar lights.

These are great little solar lights. They‘re super low profile - only about an inch tall, so they don‘t tend to get in the way. But they put out a surprising amount of light for their size, definitely enough for pathway lighting, but not so bright that it‘s an eyesore. In my testing, they consistently held a charge either several hours into the early morning or all night, depending on how overcast it was the prior day. My installation area is partially shaded, too, so that level of performance exceeded my expectations. I anticipate that might not stay that way, but at roughly $2 each, I wouldn‘t be too upset replacing a few if they start to show diminished charge capacity over time. That price seems to be the effective going rate for such items on Amazon.These come in a cardboard box, packed into two stacked trays of 6. Each tray comes with 6 lights, 6 screw-in ground stakes, 6 twist-on mounting plates, and some screws and wall anchors. The trivial installation is to take a stake and mounting plate, screw the stake into the plate, then twist the plate onto the base of the light until it‘s retained by the two tabs.After about a month in the worst weather a Virginia summer has to offer, including sweltering high temps and heavy storms, these still look almost identical to the day I installed them. The only immediate difference is that the clear plastic top is easily scratched. there‘s no sign of UV discoloration, warping, bleaching, etc. These seem to be about as watertight as it gets too; I never found even a single drop of condensation inside any of them after they‘d been outside.There is one very interesting quirk these have, which I thought I was crazy the first time I saw but managed to capture on video on a subsequent occurrence... They appear to hypnotize moths with some frequency, as you can see from the attached video.

These are tiny but mighty! I wanted a small light so when the landscaper comes he doesn’t break them when cutting the grass. These are made so well and work great. They are nice and small so great for paths. The brightness is great and they really last long. I have gotten home past midnight and they are still shining relatively bright. I’m curious how they will do during the winter months when there is let sun but so far I’m loving them.
