    Nice for the Price

I was originally going to award a four-star rating, because although these Btfarm 2 Pack 120 LED Outdoor Solar Garden Lights are nice items, and look kind of impressive when they are doing their thing at night, I was thinking that they could be improved in a couple of areas. But then when I thought of the very reasonable price this two-pack costs, it pushed my opinion of them to a full five-star rating. These are battery powered garden lights, with internal rechargeable batteries charged by means of an integrated solar panel. On the bottom side of the “pod“ containing the solar panel (which folds down to allow the sun‘s rays to strike it) there are two control buttons - one turns the unit on and off, and the other allows selection of one of the eight lighting modes. Please note that simply turning the unit on does NOT automatically start one of the lighting sequences, as these units are designed to charge during the day and automatically shine when it gets dark enough at night. But if the solar panel is covered with a hand or other opaque item the light sequence begins and the desired mode can be selected. One of the modes called “Combination lighting“ seems to consist of a cycling of the other seven modes. That‘s the one I chose to use for now, as it offers the most variety. That‘s also the mode I used during the brief video clip I attached to this review, although I don‘t think all seven of the modes were displayed since I wanted to keep the video as short as possible. But the ones that were shown were all very nice, in my opinion. The LED lighting elements are attached to forty VERY thin wires, which out of the box are folded down over the upper shaft of each unit and secured with a rubber band. It‘s up to the user to carefully remove the band and form the individual wires into the overall desired shape of each light. Although once positioned the arrangement of the wires are not permanent and can be changed, if they are given any “hard bends“ it is rather difficult to fully straighten them out again. I formed my first one into the general shape of a sphere, which is pretty cool since it give the light a 3-D effect that is quite impressive when viewed with the two eyes - much more so then is evident from the video. It took me a decent amount of time to arrange the wires into a given desired shape - maybe about 15 minutes or so although I didn‘t time myself. Each light also comes equipped with a metal (appears to be either aluminum or stainless steel) ground stake with a plastic tip that connects to a socket opposite the end where the lighting wires emanate from, and is used for pushing in the ground to hold the lighting units in place. The LED elements used in these are NOT RGB LEDs, each one is a fixed color that shines either red, white, green or blue. It still gives an attractive light display, though.

    Dazzling

Overall, this has been a great addition to my front yard landscaping. I like the varying modes of color. It allows me to switch up the show whenever I want to. Because my camera phone doesn‘t do very well in pitch dark, I shot the review video during dusk when you could make out the colors but also see what the product itself looks like with some natural illumination. It‘s definitely an economical way to spruce up your yard when the sun sets.

    Wow, gorgeous!

I’m a big gardener, and at night when I can’t see my pretty flowers I enjoy looking out and seeing solar lights. These are gorgeous! They only charged in the sun for 3 hours today after I got them, and tonight they are so vibrant and bright! They are very easy to put together- I just snapped the stake pieces together and fanned out the light wires. There are so many modes and it’s very easy to push the button under the solar panel to switch between them all. They are very nice quality and quite big!

    LOVE - beautiful sparkler lights

This set of 2 sparkler solar lights are beautiful and bright. The height is about 26“ tall and about 8“ plus wide. There are about 8 different light modes but I like the first all lights no flash mode best. I one each in a wine barrel planter and it looks so nice. It worked first night of use and still glowing bright and beautiful. Love them, definitely ordering more.
