I have installed this on quite a tall ceiling in an odd-sized room (exposed rafters) and I am quite happy with the amount of light this kicks out. Brightness can be adjusted and so can the colour but I‘m fairly sure once I get over the novelty, I‘ll probably pick a colour and keep it, which is handy as I know I will misplace the remote :-)I think others have mentioned issues getting it flush or straight, I personally didn‘t have any concerns as nothing in this room is flush or straight to compare it with ha ha.

Very happy with this light fixture. It is very bright, much more than other ceiling mount LED fixtures.Simple mounting system. One extra feature that many others don‘t have is a small cable clip-on so you can clip it to the mounting base, leave the fixture hanging safely, and connection your wires. To install, screw on the mounting base, connect the wires and rotate the fixture onto the base. Rotation gives you some degree of adjustment to get it square with the room, but your box needs to be close to square.I‘ve deducted one star because the main picture on Amazon makes it look MUCH larger than it is. It is only a little under 9“x9“. Not only might this mislead customers, but it does a disservice to the vendor. I was specifically looking for a fixture to replace two top-hat flush mount fluorescent fixtures and almost skipped this thinking it was larger than it is.

The panel is a good size and gives plenty of light. Mounting is not quite as easy as first thought. First if you are replacing a rose fitting you need to change the wiring so that its in the ceiling as this panel will not fit over it. Then when attaching this panel ideally you want it to line up with the edges of your room, rather than being at an angle, but as the panel twists on to the mount you need to work out how to place the mount. I found it best to lock the mount in the panel (fully to the close mark) and then mark the edge of the mount, taking the marks over to the other side, marking the edges of the mount where I wanted it to line up with the walls. Once this was done it was easy to install and the panel edges match my wall edges (For development it would have been nice if this was already marked for you, with effectively 4 compass points ).I like the side glow function and the ability to dim the panel by the remote (remote requires 2xAAA batteries not provided), temperature settings are also welcome and the colour changing adds an element of fun.
