These lights are much smaller than I expected. They are cute but don‘t expect them to cover a large or even small area. Consider them accent lights.They come with screws and 2 sided adhesive tape, so there is a choice of installation. I opted for the tape to place them on my deck rail and time will tell if they will hold up after a few rain showers.I only had 2 of them them installed a few days ago and so far they have been lit up all night.Update: Installed the last 2 today, only to find out one of them isn‘t working. It has been in full sun all day but only flickers when you tap on it. The product support was no help in this case.

The hardest part about reviewing this is I don‘t stay up all night, so I have no clue how long they actually remain lit. That said, I like ‘em. I‘ve used them to mark the entrance to my driveway- which is hard to see despite a nearby street light.Pros:- Soft, warm light.- Simple installation: Two screws (for me), or a strip adhesive tape and you‘re done (don‘t forget to pull out the little strip that allows the battery to work).- Replaceable battery (it‘s a rechargeable AA).- Solar powered, so no operating cost, and a decently thrifty initial cost.- On after sunset... off? Dunno.Cons:- As someone else mentioned, I, too, noticed some defects in the light cover. Fortunately, they aren‘t so bad as to be noticable from a distance (and, come on- who‘s going to be up close and inspecting them?).Overall, a good find.

Solar lights came with two installation types, Screws and double-sided tape. I used the double-sided tape and the installation only took a few minutes. The lights lit up the deck stairs, illuminating 15 stairs all the way up. Looks great from a distance. Double sided tape has lasted through multiple rains without any issues. The lights stay on the entire night, giving off a warm color.
