This is an excellent light, that solved a problem that we had in our 121 year old home.My closet had an old-style pull light (without a switch on the wall, you have to pull the string), with a bare bulb. Yuck. This was a snap to install, and using the factory settings it worked like a champ. Turn off the power, take off the old junk, put this in, turn back on the power.Now as soon as I open my closet door, I get great light, and because it‘s relatively flat, I get more space in the upper shelf, too. When I‘m done, I close the door and 30 seconds later (which you can easily adjust), the light switches off.
