The light has 3 settings, but the one I am using and will focus on is the PIR illumination (Mode 3)To start, the PiR has a claimed range of 16-26ft, however for my use case I found it to be 12ft (and I’m not a small target at 6’2” and 94kg).In terms of the illumination, it does a good job at lighting up the immediate vicinity (0-20ft) which is where my bins are and the 25 second timer is ample for my use case, but it would be nice if you could adjust this.PS: I’ve uploaded a 90 second video showing it in action.

Peasur 318 LED solar security lights outdoor.This was on sale for £18.99 when I got it. This can be a really bright light. Depends how you set it up. I’ve got it set on motion detection, so when no one goes near it, it is off, but when it picks up motion, it lights up to full brightness. It’s really easy to set up and use. You get a bracket that you can fix where you want the light to be, then you slide the light into the fixing and that’s it. Easy as. There’s one button on the back of the light to control it. You can angle the solar panel and all of the three additional panels of lights as you desire to get the best amount of light and shine the light where you want it. Lights up lovely and bright.

Well made and easy to use. Attach the mounting bracket and slide the solar light onto it.The light panels are super adjustable, so you can set the light pattern exactly as you need. Very bright at night.Reasonably priced for its build and features.

With 318 bright LEDs, this solar charged light gives lots of light to dark areas well.The main body of the light can be angled vertically whilst the two panels on the sides can be angled horizontally and the bottom one vertically to suit the area requiring the illumination. The solar panel can only be angled vertically which is a bit limiting when trying to get the panel at a perfect angle to maximise sun exposure.It mounts via a simple slot-in bracket that can be mounted to various surfaces with the supplied screws and wall plugs. Note that the light can easily be lifted out of the bracket, depending on situation and usage it might be wise to secure the light to the bracket in some way for security if the light is within easy reach.In all a great solar light for brightening up dark areas in the garden. How many seasons it will last remains to be seen.

We generally have a well-lit garden from mains powered sensor lights; however we do have a couple of dark spots that some additional lighting would be useful, but probably not worth the effort of installing a main light.These are ideal for this sort of situation, with a good light coverage (with the added advantage of the movable LED units) and a good sensor performance.We fitted it in the corner of our garden where we have a garden storage box, with the bottom light unit pointing down so it is easy to see the contents.As with anything solar light the panel needs to see a reasonable amount of daylight to recharge, so they don’t work in very hidden corners, where the light might be useful but the solar panel does not get the opportunity to recharge the battery properly. Ours is on the south facing back of our garage, so plenty of sunlight available.The IP65 rating certainly makes them fine for rainfall when fitted in the normal orientationVery easy to fit, with a pair of screws for the back bracket, then it slots on.

It’s super bright, and the motion sensor works really well, lighting up walkways, the front door, and driveway instantly when movement is detected.I really like the 3 lighting modes, especially the sensor mode, it’s perfect for saving energy while still keeping the area secure. The adjustable heads let to aim the light exactly where you need it, and the waterproof design means it should hold up well in all weather, we had no rain so can‘t confirm.It’s especially handy for keeping an eye on our pets at night when they’re roaming around the garden. Very easy to install, no wiring needed. Highly recommend.

Presented neatly with a durable and nicely sized light fixture, which is easy to install and ideal for a large number of scenarios.So this has a really good brightness and excellent coverage, also with the solar panel being in a decent location it does make this an effective workable light, that is a good money saver.I really like the motion mode which definitely helps for added security and the sensor is really reliable.Impressive value for money and happy to recommend

This is a good, basic, PIR wall light. No need for remote control etc, just screw to the wall, adjust the angles and it works. The usual controls are there for sensitivity, duration etc. It is much like others on the market and gives a fantastic throw of light when activated. No issues whatsoever and a good product.

A good budget security light with standard features. Included in the box are screws and Rawl plugs for wall mounting. The side lights rotate about 90 degrees about a vertical axis and the bottom panel rotates about the same distance about a horizontal axis. The whole is adjustable by a few degrees about the horizontal axis. The solar panel is attached to the top of the main light and its angle can be changed a little but not much. As such positioning of this light is important if you want efficient recharging throughout the winter. This may be a limiting factor when choosing a location because these small solar panels don‘t charge very well on low level ambient light. in my experience, without direct sunlight, these lights struggle to recover during the short, gloomy winter days.As with all of the budget lights of this ilk, longevity will be greatly improved by smearing plumber‘s silicon around any joints. This unit is not properly sealed and if no extra measures are taken then that damp UK air will eventually find its way to the electronics and degrade performance.The light is very bright, giving illumination across a wide area making it ideal for a driveway or steps leading to your door. It has the usual modes of “All ways on medium“, “always on dim switching to bright when motion is detected“ and then “off by default, switching to bright for about 30 seconds when motion is detected“. I generally favour the latter of these choices because the batteries tend to last longer with intermittent use. I do switch to “always on medium“ if I want to entertain in the back garden but it goes back to security mode when we are done.The price for this is very good. It’s a good light for a reasonable price.
