Bought for my garden fence (20+ meters). Easy to attach. Placed the solar panel in direct sunlight for about 8hrs of the day. They came on (flashed and then went off) during installation as they only come on when it goes dark/dusky. You can trigger it as dusk if you cover the panel for a few seconds (it stays on then).
