very bright [probably more than we needed]. looks good. works well so far. a slight difficulty in installation - the instructions were fine but our panelled ceiling [kitchen] posed some difficulty in finding a secure location for the screws and the light is quite heavy - shouldn‘t pose any difficulty if fitting into plaster.
